Brake disc
Brake discs are heating up really quick caused by the high friction of the woven brake material and its counterpart. The disc its self turns with a high revolution and transmits the generated heat to the surrounding media—in this case air. A better insight in the disc´s fin design and weight optimizations can be done after reviewing the heat distribution and transfer while in application.
