1 way FSI Simulation of a Ball Valve

This project is a perfect example of what CAE Work is all about. It includes CAD optimization, CFD and FEM analyses.

A 1 way fluid structure interaction simulations of multiple valve setups. The CFD results needed to be presented as velocity streamlines, Turbulent kinetic energy volume plot and a Temperature contour plot and for the mechanical results the total deformation and Von Mises stresses were required.

The CFD pressure results are imported into the mechanical simulations and used as a input value.

Tasks includes; A design optimization, CFD analyses and a FEM analyses of the ball valve.
